As a former teacher with a masters in English Education, I have been reading, writing, and editing in one form or another for twenty years. I have given several workshops on the craft of writing at various conferences throughout the U.S. I have also won or finaled in several writing contests, as well as the Amazon Breakout Novel Contest. I am the author of The Samantha Granger Experiment, which was a Golden Duck Award nominee for excellence in children's literature. I am also the author of a Berkley Prime Crime cozy mystery series called, The Fortune Teller Mysteries. Book one, Tempest in the Tea Leaves, reached bestseller status 5 days after its release date. Getting published is hard. Staying published is even harder. That's why I really enjoy sharing the knowledge I've learned along the way with others.
